In the fall of 2010, I raised money on the crowd fundingwebsite Kickstarter to help fund reporting-related travel for Dosed. As I explained in my original project description, I had already done a good bit of reporting by phone, Gchat and other remote means, but my interviewees were scattered around the United States, and I wanted to travel to their homes and actually get to meet them in person.
